Choosing a New Luggage Set

If you have scheduled a trip and recently pulled out your luggage and found that it is not in traveling shape you need to get yourself a new luggage set!  If you start shopping around you may be shocked to see just how many different luggage sets are on the market.  There is a lot to choose from, but this just means that there is something for everyone, including you!

 

Before buying or even shopping around much you need to determine what sort of luggage will work best for you. Do you need duffle style bags?  Do you want hard sided luggage?  Hanging luggage?  Think about the clothes and items that you will travel with most often.  When you stop to consider this, choosing the right type of luggage will be a lot easier and you’ll end up with a set that fits your needs for each and every trip, which is very important.

 

After you decide what type of luggage will work best for you, stop and think about how much luggage you might need now and in the future.  You might think that you only need a piece or two now, but don’t just think about this trip.  Buying a set is usually a more economical way to get the luggage pieces that you need, so plan for the future, too.

 

Luggage sets usually come in two, three, five, and eight pieces.  Simply shop around for the type and set size that fits your needs the very best.  You may find that some are not the quality or size that you need while others simply cost too much.  If you shop around enough you will eventually find the luggage set that fits your needs perfectly.  Remember that you can not only shop online for luggage but you can shop locally and find some great deals.

I am looking at a luggage set that has a 28, 24 and 19 inch suitcase. Will the 19 inch suitcase qualify for carry on luggage?

Most 19 inchers will. Most airlines allow 45 total inches(Length+width+depth). Try to get something light as many international airlines have ridiculous weight limits on carry ons. Lufthansa allows you 8kg.(17.6 pounds). Many 19 inch suitcases weigh half that, doesn't leave a lot for clothes.
