Understanding Zones For Mexico Vacations

When it comes to vacationing or living in a foreign country, many people find that the planning is easy but the stark reality is considerably different. Doing your homework is the best way to avoid the shock of a new home. This preparation is also extremely important to insure you are not missing some important information, and planning ahead helps you avoid the shock of a new culture in a country where you may not always understand the language. There are roughly 5 zones in Mexico. Each of these zones has something different to offer. Knowing which zone is best for your needs is going to insure you are not disappointed in the rental villa you have for the week while visiting Guadalajara. In addition, you will find that you are in accordance with foreign state, national, and local laws. Knowing what you are getting yourself into will insure you the maximum enjoyment for your Mexico vacations.

Baja Zone is the first zone we will discuss. This includes beautiful cities such as La Paz, Loreto, Todo Santos, San Jose Del Cabo, and Cabo San Lucas. These are beautifully warm climates with gorgeous beaches and even a more active nightlife. Since these do tend to be the more popular destinations for the common traveler, you will find that Tex-Mex culture is definitely alive and well in this zone or region. You will find beautiful rentals for short term or even long term purposes.

Gulf zone is the popular region for some of the most exotic and beautiful beaches in the world. Cancun, Tampico, Isla Mujeres, or Cozumel are just a few of the popular destinations you may choose for your own. These are going to offer the very public beaches where you can join in the latest party, or you can appreciate the virgin beaches off your own personal villa rental. You choose the destination, and there are possibilities that will insure you the most out of your busy and beautiful stay.

Pacific zone includes such ports as Acapulco, Mazatlan, or Puerto Vallarta. Appreciate the sands while exploring the best foods in the world. Enjoy ocean fishing during the day and quiet parties with a loved one during the night. Explore coral reefs or traverse beautiful mountains in search of lost Incan gold. The pacific zone is a dream come true for the true adventurer.

Central zone is home to such cities as Mexico City, Oaxaca, Monterrey, Palenque, or Guadalajara. Appreciate a beautiful sunset? Is it safe for my family and I to be going on vacation to Cancun, Mexico?

I know there are gang wars and we are planning to spnd the vacation in a hotel near the beach in Cancun, Mexico. Is it safe?

cancun is safer than most american cities. the drug violence is mostly along the border. if you are not involved in the drug trade you have nothing to worry about. mexico has a lot invested in the tourist trade and drug lords are not gunning for american tourists....americans, after all, are their biggest customers. plus, they dont want to extradited to an american prison for killing american tourists. mexican narcotraficantes are scared to death of being extradited to the u.s for some reason.

you are in more danger of being date raped by a fellow american than getting gunned down by a mexican hit man for a drug cartel.dont believe the media hype...the only americans to die from violence spilling over to this side are the ones involved in it. go to cancun and have fun.
