Travelling to the states...can i charge my canon camera without using an adapter?
I have a 3 prong to 2 prong thingy and the plug of the charger itself says 110 to 240 volts...
Yes as long as you have the three to two adapter you mention.
Be aware however that the US current is at 110V which means it has less 'push' than our 240V. In battery terms this means that the charge will take longer and it also wont last as long as when you charge in the UK so you may want to take a spare.
